Server overload and suck. |

It's not the bandwidth this time, the server is overloaded. And a couple of other things related to the server. The bandwidth is fine and dandy, so far it
has used less than 2 gb's this month out of 20. I think it needs a new host, a really good one.
I've got a list somewhere of hosts I made in case A Small Orange craps out on me. I'll post it once I find it. |

I've been on their second smallest plan for the past couple of years, and so far soo good. The only real complaint I have (besides my server being named after Jack from Lost) is the Cpanel loads slow. http://www.doreo.com/index.php I've heard some very, very good things about this one. They offer backups, and a really nice blog (I've never seen a host do this) that keeps everyone up to date on server issues, and other stuff. http://www.site5.com/ I used to hear a lot of good stuff about this one, but now I'm not so sure... http://www.surpasshosting.com/ My first host, apparently they've gotten better. |

Doreo has 175+GB for $200+ annual.
Surpass has 6000GB for $250 annual. Small Orange has 60GB for $240 annual. Lots of bandwidth differences for a similar price; but I like the attitude of Doreo and the blog is wonderful. Their tutorials seem limited though. I'll pop for the site, but someone else has to handle the programming. Sparkly... what do you think?

But, seriously... wouldn't we really just need to redirect the board's URL in the board information? I know we would have to set up a gallery for
all of the emoticons, and that is not something I am at all familiar with. I'm pretty much only good when it comes to altering and tampering with board
software.

Okay, then what are we going to do.
We need a Merr board. I would literally die without one. I want to purchase good software. Software that does what we want, instead of us working around it's limitations. I also want a stable server. I like Doreo. Anyone else wanna chime in?
